Jakarta BPRD Encouraged to Optimize Regional Tax Revenue

Jakarta Council (DPRD) Commission C encourages Jakarta Taxation and Regional Retribution Agency (BPRD) to optimize regional taxation revenue.

It is important to optimize regional taxation and retribution revenue

Jakarta DPRD Commission C Head, Santoso expressed, revenue realization from taxation and retribution sectors are still not optimal ahead of Revised Local Government Budget (APBD-P) for Fiscal Year 2018.

"It is important to optimize regional taxation and retribution revenue to rationalize the potential for regional revenue simultaneously," he stated, Thursday (6/27).

BPRD Provides Online Tax Application to Facilitate Taxpayers

For information, currently Jakarta BPRD has realized Rp 13.6 trillion for regional revenue from target Rp 44.18 trillion per June 2019.

That revenue is collected from Vehicle Tax (PKB) Rp 3.9 trillion, Vehicle-Ownership Transfer Fee (BBN-KB) Rp 2.4 trillion, Motor Fuels Tax (PBB-KB) Rp 613 billion, Urban and Rural Land and Building Tax (PBB-P2) Rp 816.5 billion, Billboard Tax Rp 469 billion, Groundwater Tax (PAT) Rp 44 billion.

Then, hotel tax Rp 773 billion, restaurant tax Rp 1.6 trillion, entertainment tax Rp 372 billion, street lightning tax Rp 401 billion, parking tax Rp 269 billion, Duty on Land and Building Right Acquisition (BPHTB) Rp 1.5 trillion, and Cigarette Tax Rp 220 billion.
